Building History In-Person
“Building History” features seven historic buildings in Benton, Bryant, and Bauxite. The Saline County Courthouse is one of them. The other six buildings serve completely different functions. They are the Gann House, the Hyten House, the Tull-Banks House, Bauxite Community Hall, and the Shoppach House. The exhibits highlight the history of each building and the many significant events that have made each place so important to our community.
Take a personal tour, guided by our Special Collections Assistant to learn more. The exhibit will be open for viewing Thursdays - Saturdays from 9 AM - 3 PM during normal Gann Museum hours. The last day to view the exhibit is Saturday, July 27th.
While a reservation is not required, we recommend parties of 5 or more call ahead at 501-778-5513.
