Good to Know

Registration

All library programs are open to the public; however, some events will require reserving a seat (registration) in order to attend. Registration requires providing a name and email address. Programs that need you to sign up will clearly state "REGISTRATION REQUIRED" and will have information on how many seats are remaining. Registration for all library events is free. If seats are completely full, you may also request to be added to a waiting list.

Age Groups

Library programs are designed for separate age groups: Children (ages 0-10), Tweens (ages 10-12), Teen (ages 13-18) and Adult (ages 18+). Some events are marked for All Ages, or have a combination of age groups (ex: Tweens & Teens). Attendees are asked to attend only programs that fit their designated age group.

Cancellation

Our staff reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel events. If an event is cancelled, notices will be sent out on our Facebook, website, and doors (if event is in-person). Anyone who registered will be notified via email with the address they signed up with.

Photography

By attending a library program, you are granting staff permission to photograph or video record you and/or your child. These photographs and videos may be used for social media such as Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram as well as used on our website, marketing, or promotional materials. You may request to opt out of photography: If you are uncomfortable being photographed, please let our photographer on site know.

Accessibility

The library makes every effort to ensure our programs can be enjoyed by all. If you have any concerns about accessibility or need to request specific accommodations, please contact the library.

Feedback

We would love to know what you think of our program, as well as suggestions for new events at the library! After attending, you may fill out an Evaluation Form and give us feedback on how we did. We are here to serve our community and your thoughts are highly appreciated! You can fill out the form here.

Further Policies

You can review more library policies including library card checkout limits, proper conduct and behavior at the library, and more here on our website.
