(FULL) 3D Printer Certification Class In-Person

Registration is full for this event!

Curious about the Makerspace's 3D printers?  Join us to learn how to operate the Bambu X1 Carbon 3D printer and slice files using Bambu Studio software. After completing this course, you’ll be certified to reserve and use the printer independently at the library! Please note that this class focuses on operating the printer and preparing files, not on designing 3D files from scratch.

Patrons only need to attend one class to become certified.  Patrons must have a Saline County Library card in good standing to participate and make reservations, which can be done on the library's website.  This class is for adults, 18+.  Registration is required.

For more information, including our 3D print policy and procedures, visit our website or contact the Makerspace directly at (501) 778-4766 ext. 1007.

Good to Know

Registration

All library programs are open to the public; however, some events will require reserving a seat (registration) in order to attend. Registration requires providing a name and email address. Programs that need you to sign up will clearly state "REGISTRATION REQUIRED" and will have information on how many seats are remaining. Registration for all library events is free. If seats are completely full, you may also request to be added to a waiting list.

Age Groups

Library programs are designed for separate age groups: Children (ages 0-10), Tweens (ages 10-12), Teen (ages 13-18) and Adult (ages 18+). Some events are marked for All Ages, or have a combination of age groups (ex: Tweens & Teens). Attendees are asked to attend only programs that fit their designated age group.

Cancellation

Our staff reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel events. If an event is cancelled, notices will be sent out on our Facebook, website, and doors (if event is in-person). Anyone who registered will be notified via email with the address they signed up with.

Photography

By attending a library program, you are granting staff permission to photograph or video record you and/or your child. These photographs and videos may be used for social media such as Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram as well as used on our website, marketing, or promotional materials. You may request to opt out of photography: If you are uncomfortable being photographed, please let our photographer on site know.

Accessibility

The library makes every effort to ensure our programs can be enjoyed by all. If you have any concerns about accessibility or need to request specific accommodations, please contact the library.

Feedback

We would love to know what you think of our program, as well as suggestions for new events at the library! After attending, you may fill out an Evaluation Form and give us feedback on how we did. We are here to serve our community and your thoughts are highly appreciated! You can fill out the form here.

Further Policies

You can review more library policies including library card checkout limits, proper conduct and behavior at the library, and more here on our website.
